Capstone Project
This project is focused on educating the public on the reality of homelessness in Los Angeles & Santa Monica and gathering support to help mitigate this prevalent issue.

Our mentor is Dr. Stephanie Moon, a research expert on homelessness who works at a UCLA research center called PMHP. With her expertise, Dr. Moon will be able to guide our research, provide resources, and give feedback.
Prototype Design
Prototype Update (January)
Our group has finished outlining the materials we will need to create our website and we are preparing to purchase them. We've come up with the criteria our website has to meet in order to be successful along with methods to test if it has met said criteria. We are continuing to meet with our mentor every other week so we can ask question and so she can help us find material for our website. Below is a short video discussing our plans for our website.
Prototype Update (March)
We have created a thorough outline of the concepts and questions about homelessness that our website will address, and are currently in the process of researching and compiling content from various sources to include. The structure of our website is also in the process of being coded. We are continuing to meet with our mentor to ask for feedback and assistance when needed. We are also preparing for a meeting with a Webmaster that our mentor has connected us with so we can ask questions about the problems we run into when putting together our website.
